What do kids get out of it?

Hi Parents,

Kids often feel lost, not knowing how one bit of learning is connected to the next and are unsure on how to apply their existing lessons to new stiuations.

Also teachers often feel pressured to give students answers to get through work as quickly as possible, rather allowing them the time needed for kids to discover things for themselves and fully integrate new facts with past understandings.

Our approach allows kids to feel in control of their learning, by letting them choose topics of interest to them and how they go about learning, including allowing them the time to explore ideas and integrate their knowledge.

To help them integrate their learning we provide them with basic core understandings that usually apply across many subject areas, and provide links on how various topics relate. These build webs of understanding that new knowledge can stick to, creating more flexible adaptive learners confident in their ability to learn almost any new topic.
